Hornung & Møller was Denmark's largest piano manufacturer and operated between 1827 to 1972. They were among the first companies to introduce the cast iron plate. Here we have a very special collaboration between architects Peter Hvidt, Orla Mølgaard Nielsen, and Hornung & Møller. Hvidt & Mølgaard were a pioneering force in Danish design and for this collaboration they lent their design philosophy to the popular Model E pianino. The result is a jaw-dropping masterpiece crafted from mahogany, walnut, birch, elm, oak and teak! Very few of these are in existence today and this was is in exceptional condition.
