Howdy! We are Shelby and Michael, owners over here at Furniture Fosters. We thought we’d take a moment to introduce ourselves to those of you we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting at our shop.

Furniture Fosters sprouted in 2020 out of a love story in the midst of global pandemic. Michael, a film composer with a love of design, matched on Hinge with Shelby, a sommelier with a love of hospitality, storytelling, and diy. Our very first conversation was about our travels to Denmark and how we had our apartments decorated. To say it was meant to be is an understatement!

We dreamt up this little business from our apartments, to storage units, to a small warehouse in Glassell Park, and finally to our shop in Eagle Rock.

At Furniture Fosters, we're all about celebrating the stories, designs, and ingenuity of the pieces we sell. We believe in giving new life to vintage treasures, preserving and restoring them so they can find their forever homes. Because let's be real, there's something truly special about surrounding yourself with pieces that speak to you and make you feel right at home.

But above all, we're all about growing with our community and supporting local artisans and makers. Because at the end of the day, it's the people who make a house a home, and we're thrilled to be a part of your journey in finding that special piece that speaks to you.
