FAQs & Policies

What is your return policy?

In general, due to the nature of selling pre-owned vintage items, all sales are final. However, we are glad to consider returns or exchanges on a case-by-case basis and encourage you to contact us directly. If an item is purchased on our website or elsewhere online and has not left our store you may cancel the order within 7 days for a refund.

If we accept a return and the item was purchased by credit card we will withhold 2.9% of the sale for the credit card processing fee we are charged. As of 2023 many major credit card processing services, such as the ones we use, do not return the credit card processing fee when an item is refunded.

Do you offer delivery?

We offer local delivery in most cases. Delivery fees vary based on location, size of piece, and accessibility. For deliveries outside of Southern California we have experience working with third party shippers and are glad to help recommend options to be arranged by the buyer.

Do you purchase furniture or consign?

We purchase furniture directly from the public. Feel free to reach out by email or our listed phone number and include photos for a speedy response. We generally purchase vintage furniture from the 1950’s-1970’s in the Danish Modern and Mid Century Modern style. We do not offer consignment.

Do you hold or reserve items?

We can hold an item up to 7 days with a 10% deposit. Without a deposit we can not guarantee an item you are interested in will be available online or in store when you arrive. It is possible an item can be sold online or in person within the time you make an appointment to the time you arrive to your appointment.

Do you offer rentals?

Not at the moment, but may consider it in the future.

Do you offer restoration services?

While we do restore many of the pieces in our store, we do not offer outside restoration services. We are happy to recommend reputable professionals for the service you need.

What’s up with the pianos?

Michael studied film composition at Berklee College of Music and began collecting small scale pianos because that’s all that fit in a studio apartment. This need turned into an obsession and it turns out lots of other people share this appreciation for rare adorable miniature pianos. Pianos are often abandoned due to their size and often ornate designs that have fallen out of fashion. This destroys us! We aim to save pianos from gathering dust by focusing on quality pianos with sleek designs that look beautiful in a modern space.
